Cadie

Goodbye my sweet Cadie girl….

With very heavy heart, I had to let my beautiful Cadie go. She was just a few months shy of her 13th birthday….but that still wasn’t enough. What I wouldn’t give for another year, month, or even another day with my Poo-girl. She introduced me to so many things. Together, we made so many new friends. She was ever a puppy in her antics right up to the last day I had her with me. I will always cherish the times we had together and am grateful to her breeder, [...]

Fall is in the Air

Is it just me or does it seem summer just never arrived? Cadie, Booty, and Caper are enjoying the cool air as we enter into the fall season. There wasn't much in the way of pool time this summer with the rain and cool temps, but on those couple of warm days Caper taught herself to use the float in the pool to cool off. She's a crafty one that Caper! It's been a busy time with a recent trip to San Luis Obispo for the Portuguese Water Dog National [...]

Rain rain go away!

Or...will summer ever arrive? Remind not to whine the tiniest bit when the heat arrives! Been busy here with ushering in spring and keeping up with Mother Nature's handiwork. The weather has been spectacular for grass growing and with that comes mowing. It is beautiful, all that green...and the dogs love it! When not helping track down those rasca-wee moles, we have been oh so busy competing at local agility trials. Booty is having a great time competing in open jumpers and has two qualifying scores towards her Novice Standard [...]

Happy New Year!

Where does the time go? A busy end of 2009 and 2010 is off to a good start, I'd say. Jessie and I had a great time at Marco's holiday party to celebrate the completion of Cathi and Tom's major remodel of their house. It was a great time and we got to meet some fun people from the other facets of the Jzyk's lives as well as catch up with our doggie friends. New Year's weekend was celebrated by me and 'the girls' with an outing to an agility [...]
