Dexter

Dexter was born April 7, 1996 and lived to age 13.  Dexter was a very outgoing, charasmatic and active boy. He lived with Ginnie and Bob Santoli where he had a successful show career as well as competed in many performance events.

Ginnie and her boy Dexter achieved titles in obedience competition in both AKC and UKC competition. They competed in AKC Rally through the Advanced level of competition. Dexter was a Working Water Dog (WWD) and earned an Award of Merit (AOM) at the 1998 PWDCA National Specialty. Ginnie states to this day that Dexter would have had more performance titles had she been a better handler. Ginnie considered Dexter her “partner” and nicknamed him “Cary Grant” because of how he “charmed” the people who met him as well as the lady Portuguese Water Dogs.
