Hemi waiting his turn.
Hemi and Sea-cret headed north for the weekend with one of their best pals, Sammie Lewis. What a successful weekend—Hemi came home with his Canadian Kennel Club championship and Sea-cret came home with CKC Championship points!
In Canada, you must have a total of 10 points under three different judges with at least a 2-point win along the way. They award additional points for group competition based on the placement and the number of breeds competing in the group. Hemi and Sammie did in up in style as always. He got two three point wins Friday and Saturday for a total of 6 points going into today’s show. By going Best of Winners and Best of Breed he got another 2 for a total for the weekend of 8 points. He and Sammie stepped up to the challenge to finish his championship in the weekend and placed 3rd in a nice group of Working dogs. Based on his 3rd place win he got to add another 3 points to his total, ending up with the maximum of 5-points for the day. So proud to be able to make it up for this show and be their for his win. Great job Hemi and Sammie!!
Sea-cret was not to be left out of the fun as she had a great weekend as well. Coming home with a 2-point win today and a reserve earlier in the weekend. Sea-cret had such a good time….she will be looking for another trip to Canada soon looking to complete her CKC Championship.

Sea-Cret loves the camera!
Booty went along as my co-pilot on the ride up and was great company for the TWO AND a HALF hour wait at the border! Booty just loves to go along….where ever the destination. Good girl Boo!
